BAR50 is open to everyone who wants to enjoy the company of family, friends, partners, mom groups (or dad groups), or colleagues in lovely surroundings.
During the daytime, BAR50 serves as a breakfast restaurant and café. Here, you can purchase delicious coffee, snacks, sweets, juice, nuts, various types of cakes, and homemade cookies. In the evening, BAR50 offers cold draft beer, bottled beer, and specialty beers. If you're not a big beer enthusiast, we also have a great cocktail menu and fine wines.
Additionally, we offer various cold soft drinks, juice, Cocio (chocolate milk), and energy drinks. Of course, we also have a wide selection of colorful non-alcoholic beverages.
Furthermore, we often host DJ nights, Friday bars, live jazz sessions, and study cafes where the atmosphere is always top-notch.

Culture Night

Every October, for one unforgettable evening, Copenhagen opens its doors to hundreds of unique events, with museums, galleries, theaters, and cultural spaces offering extraordinary experiences from 6:00 PM to midnight.
J-Day at BAR50
This Friday, 6 November, Christmas officially begins at BAR50! 🎄 From 8 PM, DJ NIKNAGS will turn up the energy with familiar hip-hop, pounding bass and energetic rhythms inspired by Latin American club culture. At 8:59 PM, the snow starts falling at BAR50. Afterwards, the first 60 guests to make their way to the bar will get a FREE Christmas beer! ❄️ Look forward to a festive night with a DJ, great offers, plenty of Christmas beer and Santa hats 🎅 – plus lots of Christmas cheer and good times with friends. Start your weekend with Friday specials, Hostel Hour, and student discounts! Ready for the weekend? Get your mates, coursemates, or colleagues together and join us for Friday bar at BAR50. Expect a great atmosphere, cold beers, and properly good drinks at prices that make sense. Whether you’re after a laid-back pint to shake off the week, or you're looking for the perfect launchpad before a big night out in Copenhagen, we’re the place to be. We go big on Fridays. Share the love (and the drinks) with our Friday special: massive cocktail pitchers for just 300 DKK. We've also got board games and table football, so you can challenge your mates to a little friendly competition over a cold beer or a delicious cocktail. Studying? Bring your student ID along to get your hands on our student discount – because a proper Friday night shouldn't blow your budget. Children's Café - for kids and parent groups
At Danhostel Copenhagen City, we are always happy to welcome children. This also applies to our café, where children are welcome to play.
We have a play area in the basement with toys, books, and coloring materials, as well as child-friendly food and drinks at the bar.
We have changing facilities, highchairs, and space for your stroller. At our place, playing, relaxing, and breastfeeding are all welcome!
