In Copenhagen, you can take canal tours with companies such as Stromma and Nettobådene, both departing from Nyhavn and Ved Stranden, and guided in both Danish and English.

During the summer, the tours are conducted on open boats, while the winter season offers covered and heated boats.

The Classic Canal Tour

Enjoy a classic canal tour that last approximately one hour. The tour start either from Nyhavn or Ved Stranden, passing by Christiansborg and through Copenhagen's picturesque canals. Along the way, you'll sail past iconic landmarks such as Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace, the Black Diamond (Royal Danish Library), Holmen, the Little Mermaid, and the Opera House.

Grand Canal Tour

If you prefer longer tours, Stromma also offers their Grand Canal Tour, which lasts for 1 hour and 45 minutes, delving into Copenhagen's history. In addition to the classic route, the tour also passes through Nordhavn and all the way to Sydhavnen before returning to the starting point.
