DJ NIKNAGS is an upcoming DJ from Vesterbro, drawing inspiration from Latin American music and club culture. With appearances on community radio, at festivals and most recently as part of the “Baile Techno” event series, he is making his mark on Copenhagen’s DJ scene.
Behind the decks, DJ NIKNAGS blends familiar hip-hop and heavy, pounding basslines with energetic rhythms and sounds from the Latin American underground. His influences are wide-ranging, with the raw and vibrant sounds of Rio de Janeiro’s favelas playing a particularly important role in his sets.
The result is an explosive mix of familiar tracks and fresh, unexpected beats, where hip-hop meets Latin American club culture. DJ NIKNAGS delivers a high-energy soundtrack made for the dance floor, bringing the heat of Rio straight to Copenhagen.
