Winterjazz | HØK
Experience an intimate and atmospheric concert with HØK in BAR50 – a young Danish trio that blends indie, folk, and jazz into a poetic and dreamlike universe. With beautiful melodies, warm tones, and room for improvisation, HØK creates an honest and heartfelt atmosphere that invites the audience on a journey through calmness, reflection, and musical curiosity.
In 2024, the band released their debut album “Ud Af Byen” (Out of the City), moving in the borderland between modern jazz and melodies inspired by the Nordic folk song tradition. The music revolves around themes of finding home, embracing movement – and enjoying the view while you have it.
Look forward to an evening in BAR50 filled with intimacy, Nordic melancholy, and musical depth – delivered by three musicians who play from the heart and create a space where time and place briefly disappear.

Large, modern rooms and hotel apartments
We offer low-price accommodation in the middle of Copenhagen with the option of getting the best view of the city from our large, spacious rooms with private bathrooms. We both have dorms and private rooms suitable for family accommodation.
Our rooms accommodate from 1 to 10 persons which makes our hostel suitable for everyone; families, couples, backpackers, groups, school camps, etc. Our hostel can accommodate a total of 1,040 guests. As the only hostel in Copenhagen, we have four hotel apartments on the 17th floor with fantastic views of the city.

At Danhostel Copenhagen City, we also have the modern designer bar and café, BAR50, where you can enjoy delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drinks with your family and friends. In the evening we change the ambience with events, good music, drinks, cold draft beer and delicious snacks.
