Common areas

In addition to staying in your own room or apartment, you can relax in our common areas, where you can watch TV, play board games, challenge your fellow travelers in table football, table tennis, or pool billiards. We also have ongoing events in our café and bar BAR50 that you can participate in while staying here. Finally, we have a bookshelf that you can immerse yourself in during your stay.

The basement - full of fun

If you go down the stairs, which you'll find in the café, BAR50, you'll reach the basement. Here, we have table football, table tennis, and pool billiards for you to challenge your fellow travelers while staying here. Please inquire at the reception for balls and bats for loan. Everything is free.

NEW! You can now also play air hockey (please note, there is a small fee).

Further into the basement, you'll find a playroom for children and a bookshelf, where we operate on the concept of "swap a book." Find an interesting book on the shelf and exchange it with your own book - this way, you'll leave exciting reading material for other guests.

In the basement, there's also a TV that you are welcome to use.

Café and bar with TV - BAR50

As a guest, you are always welcome in our café/bar, which we call BAR50. Here you can buy food and drinks throughout the day or simply relax with your fellow travelers.

We have a TV in the café, and we provide board games for you to enjoy - all free of charge.

It's also where we host various events throughout the year. Everything from showing national matches and other sports events to creative workshops, bingo, and small concerts.

Welcome to our Hostel Hours, where we spoil you with fantastic offers on beer and drinks. Stop by for a cozy time with friends or meet new people over a cold beer or two. Come and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, great prices, and pleasant company in our café and bar, BAR50. We look forward to welcoming you to an evening filled with fun and great deals! 🍻 Hostel Hours means cheap beers! 🍻 Enjoy a small draft beer for 25 DKK or a large one for only 35 DKK! (Tuborg or Carlsberg). Hostel Hours is every day from 5-6 pm and again between 8-9 pm! Winterjazz | Sigrid Eva

Winterjazz is a nationwide music festival that has been creating a unique jazz vibe across Denmark every February since 2001. Copenhagen comes alive with music, and BAR50 is, as always, proud to be part of this fantastic festival. Sigrid Eva invites you on a musical journey that delves into life’s stories, creating an intimate and personal concert experience. As a singer, songwriter, and pianist, she released her debut EP "Oceans Away" in 2023 and has since established herself as a prominent voice on the Danish music scene. With headline performances at venues like RUST, Musikhuset København, and Fatter Eskil, she has built a solid fan base, and following her first Denmark tour in fall 2024, she now performs at BAR50 as part of the CPH Winterjazz Festival. Look forward to an evening filled with presence, magical tones, and a truly special atmosphere at BAR50. We can’t wait to welcome you! 🎶✨

John Garrison | Live concert

Join us for a free intimate concert as we celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with none other than John Garrison! We'll have cheap beer, cold drinks, and great music 💚🍺🍀 John Garrison is an English musician who began his career with the band Budapest before going solo in 2006. He is also a session bass player for major artists such as Lewis Capaldi, Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams, James Blunt, Christina Aguilera and Leona Lewis. Join us for a cozy and festive evening on Saturday, March 15th, at 9:00 PM. Note: Our daily Hostel Hour starts at 8 PM, so come early and enjoy our special good offers.
