Guide to parking with OPARKO
The discount is only valid in two designated parking areas.
Please read the general terms and parking regulations carefully, and check the parking map before parking your car.
Parking areas
Our guest discount is available in two designated OPARKO parking areas at Kalvebod Brygge 3–7: an underground car park and an outdoor parking area.
Both areas are accessible 24/7 and use automatic number plate recognition (ANPR).
Check the map for the exact parking locations.
A – Underground car park | Upper level only
The underground car park is located between Kalvebod Brygge 3 and 5 and has 260 parking spaces, as well as Clever charging stations for electric vehicles.
Parking is only permitted on the upper level.
Please note: The maximum vehicle height is 1.95 metres.
B – Outdoor parking | Terræn 31
The outdoor car park is located between Kalvebod Brygge 5 and 7 and has 63 parking spaces.
Please note: The discount is only valid within the designated area shown on the map. Make sure you park within the marked boundaries and always follow the parking signs on site.
How it works
Follow these four simple steps to use our guest parking discount:
1. Scan the QR code
Scan our special QR code at reception or in your digital guestbook, which you'll receive by email two days before arrival.
2. Register and pay
Enter your vehicle's licence plate number, select your parking period and pay directly through the QR code. Make sure your licence plate number is entered correctly.
3. Park your car
Park in one of the two designated parking areas (A or B) shown on the parking map. Your licence plate will be automatically scanned by cameras upon arrival.
4. Drive in and out freely
Once your parking is registered and paid for, you can freely enter and exit the designated parking areas during your ticket's validity period.
Important: Your vehicle must be registered and your parking ticket paid for before you leave the parking area. Leaving your vehicle in the parking area without a valid registration may result in a parking fine.
Your parking ticket is only valid in the two designated parking areas. Parking outside these areas may result in a parking fine, even if you've purchased a ticket through OPARKO.
General terms and conditions
- Price and validity: A 24-hour parking ticket costs 300 DKK and is valid for 24 hours from the time of purchase. The discount applies to passenger cars only (not trailers, caravans, minibuses, etc.).
- Parking areas: Your ticket is only valid at Kalvebod Brygge 3–5, on the upper level of the underground car park (A), and at Kalvebod Brygge 5–7, Terræn 31, within the designated outdoor parking area (B).
- Licence plate registration: Make sure you enter your licence plate number correctly when purchasing your ticket, as it cannot be changed afterwards. Check your registration details in your confirmation email. If you make a mistake, please contact OPARKO directly at +45 88 74 31 94.
- Digital parking ticket: Your ticket is digital, so there's no need to display a physical ticket in your car.
- Parking regulations: Always follow OPARKO's parking signs and only park in marked parking spaces within the designated areas. Please note that the underground car park has a maximum vehicle height of 1.95 metres.
- Entry and exit: You may enter and exit the designated parking areas freely during your ticket's validity period.
- Responsibility: Danhostel Copenhagen City only facilitates the parking discount and does not manage the parking areas. Any parking fines must be handled directly with the parking company that issued them. Danhostel Copenhagen City is not responsible for parking fines, theft or damage related to parking.
