Danhostel Copenhagen City is often visited by high school classes on study trips to Copenhagen. The hostel offers excellent opportunities for both easy access to the city's many attractions and a safe, secure place to return to after a busy day. When traveling with a high school class, there's much to experience, and you'll appreciate not wasting time on transportation. The location is central yet safe and secure for our guests.
We offer very favorable rates for high school class accommodation and always strive to keep the whole school group on the same floor, making it easy for students to have fun together and for teachers to stay close by.
At Danhostel Copenhagen City, you get not only accommodation but also plenty of opportunities to relax during the day and evening when you’re not busy with planned activities. We have a great bar and café, perfect for the purpose. The hostel is open and staffed 24 hours a day, so you can always access your rooms.
Meals and activities tailored to your needs

With many years of experience in hosting high school classes, we know exactly what such a stay entails and how it works best. At our hostel, we can provide all meals for your group. We can take care of dinner, so you don't need to go out after a long, busy day, and it's also possible to arrange lunch packs if you’d like to take food with you on your tours around Copenhagen.
We also have a cozy basement with table tennis, foosball, air hockey, and pool, as well as a modern café and lounge on the ground floor. Here, you’ll find TVs, board games, and plenty of space to relax with your phone, as there is free WiFi throughout the building and charging docks.
It’s a good idea to book early to ensure the best conditions. We are happy to help with both meals, coordination of bus transport, and recommendations on great places to visit in Copenhagen, so you only need to focus on enjoying yourselves.
Would your students like to take over our Instagram during their stay?
If your students are over 15 years old, they can take over our Instagram account while staying here. It's a fun opportunity that your students might enjoy, and it can be easily organized as part of your trip’s educational program.

Breakfast
You can enjoy our breakfast buffet every day in the period 7.00 – 10.00 am.
Enjoy homemade chia pudding with compote, fruit and vegetables, muesli, freshly baked bread, and much more! Cold and hot beverage are also included, as is our sustainable initiative ‘Bugs for breakfast’.
The buffet is including seat reservations in our café and is booked in 30-minutes intervals. We kindly ask our guests to adhere to the booked time.

Lunch
Lunch buffet can be ordered by groups of at least 25 people Monday-Friday. (Saturday and Sunday upon request).
Will you be on the go all day? Groups of at least 20 people can order a Lunch Pack Tuesday-Saturday (1 sandwich, 1 piece of fruit, 1 snack and 1 bottle of water) for DKK 75 per person – so you will have time for a little extra sightseeing!
Dinner
Dinner can be ordered for groups of at least 25 people Monday-Friday (Saturday and Sunday upon request).
NB: Groups must order their meals at least 14 days in advance at gb@cphhostel.dk.
Time of arrival
Check-in is from 2 pm on the day of arrival.
Groups should always announce their arrival time in advance so that we are able to welcome you in the best possible way, and also to ensure we have a place to store your luggage in case you arrive before 2 p.m.
Departure and luggage storage
Check-out is no later than 10 am on standard rooms and 12 noon on standard+ rooms.
If you are leaving Copenhagen later in the day, luggage storage can be arranged for a fee. Groups can either choose to make a late check-out on one of their rooms until 12 a.m for DKK 200, or rent a room for an extra night so that luggage can be stored the entire day.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for groups to use the luggage room upon departure.
Bed linen and towels
Bed linen and a towel are included for every guest. An eco-friendly tote bag with linen and a towel will be handed to you upon arrival which you shall also return upon departure in our deposit box in the lobby. Extra linen and towels can always be rented at the reception.
Please be aware that sleeping bags are not allowed in the hostel and that avoiding the use of bed linen on our beds will result in a fee of DKK 500 per person.
