"Gadens Stemmer" (Voices of the Street) is a 90-minute city walk filled with food for thought. During the tour, you'll gain a raw and touching insight into the darker sides of life and the city, sprinkled with hope, smiles, and optimism.
Your guide shares stories based on their own life experiences, including homelessness, substance abuse, sex work, placements, and mental vulnerability. The tours start and end within walking distance from our hostel.

Copenhagen Pride
Step into a world of diversity and celebration at Copenhagen Pride!
This annual event honors the LGBTQ+ community with festivities, colors, and solidarity. Copenhagen Pride is a symbolic manifestation of love, acceptance, and pride.
Join us for Copenhagen Pride Week, which is open to everyone, regardless of background or sexual orientation. Copenhagen Pride offers an inclusive and festive atmosphere for all participants, whether you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or simply wish to support equality and diversity.
Every year in August, Copenhagen Pride Week takes place on and around City Hall Square. Experience a variety of events from Monday to Sunday and take part in the Pride Parade, which is always held on Saturday.
Don’t forget to buy your ticket for our very own Drag Bingo night on Thursday, August 14th at 8:00 PM. It will be an evening filled with laughter, drinks, and good vibes, hosted by Di Di Cancerella and Diana Diamond.

We offer low-price accommodation in the middle of Copenhagen with the option of getting the best view of the city from our large, spacious rooms with private bathrooms. We both have dorms and private rooms suitable for family accommodation.
Our rooms accommodate from 1 to 10 persons which makes our hostel suitable for everyone; families, couples, backpackers, groups, school camps, etc. Our hostel can accommodate a total of 1,040 guests. As the only hostel in Copenhagen, we have four hotel apartments on the 17th floor with fantastic views of the city.

At Danhostel Copenhagen City, we also have the modern designer bar and café, BAR50, where you can enjoy delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as drinks with your family and friends. In the evening we change the ambience with events, good music, drinks, cold draft beer and delicious snacks.
